EvoGuard is an innovative erosion control barrier designed to contain sediment, prevent soil erosion, improve water runoff management, and enhance the overall stability of slopes and embankments.

EvoGuard is a trenchless system that establishes positive contact with the ground and contains solids like soil, mud, and sediment. Water impacts are reduced, distributing evenly across the barrier, providing both immediate and long-term erosion protection.

The EvoGuard DIY Kit comes with everything needed to install the system: the technical mesh barrier, basalt fiber stakes, protective stake caps, UV stabilized zip ties, ground pegs, work gloves and a carry bag for storage.

EvoGuard Pro is for the more experienced installer and comes with only the technical mesh and zip ties. Staking posts and other supplies must be sourced separately.

Rated fire retardant by the American Society for Testing and Materials, the technical mesh is rendered non-accelerant, is manufactured with UV protection and able to withstand the natural elements of the outdoors.

Rip-stop technology refers to the woven design that allows EvoGuard to withstand impact penetration without unraveling.

EvoGuard is constructed with post sleeves that fully integrate stakes, maximizing its structural integrity.

The EvoGuard DIY Kit weighs 28 pounds for the 50-foot kit and 44 pounds for the 100-foot kit, including the box and packaging.

The installation process involves rolling out the technical mesh, sliding stakes into integrated post sleeves, driving stakes into the ground, and securing the containment toe with ground pegs.

No, EvoGuard can be installed by individuals capable of swinging a hammer and lifting 6-44 pounds (weight depends on which height and length you purchase). The EvoGuard Kit comes with all supplies needed for a successful installation.

Yes! The system is lightweight and designed for easy DIY installation. The EvoGuard DIY Kit comes with everything you need to be successful. For larger or commercial projects, it may be helpful to have a partner or a team.

EvoGuard comes in 50 and 100-foot lengths, but can be linked together for longer stretches of property. The EvoGuard Kit comes in 2-foot height and EvoGuard Pro is available in 1, 2, and 3-foot heights.

No. The remaining mesh can be rolled up and secured at the final staking post. An instructional video can be found on the Resources page of the EvoGuard website.

Yes, barriers can be combined, and excess mesh can be rolled into the final stake. Custom bulk orders are also available by simply submitting the Contact Form. A Regional Technical Expert will reach out to you to process your order.

EvoGuard is reusable. Some prefer to leave their systems in place and allow vegetation to grow through and around the system. In other cases, it may be used as needed, seasonally, or in a different location on your property. In these instances, you can reverse the process for installation, roll up the technical mesh, and store it in your garage or basement for future use.

Soil erosion is caused by natural factors like rain, wind, and water flow, as well as human activities like construction and deforestation.

Soil erosion can damage property, lead to loss of productive soil, sedimentation, landslides, flooding, water quality decline, ecological impacts, and economic losses.

Signs of erosion, exposed roots, gullies, and sediment deposits, indicate the need for erosion control, especially near water bodies or slopes.

Preventing erosion protects property from damage, preserves fertile topsoil, and maintains property value and aesthetics.

EvoGuard diverts the flow of fast-moving surface water and reduces its speed, therefore preventing soil runoff, washout, and the formation of gullies on your property. By protecting areas on your property that have been damaged from, or are at risk for, erosion caused by stormwater, you can restore your landscape and regrow your turf.

EvoGuard redirects and manages snowdrift building up on your property, therefore keeping roads, driveways, walkways, and structural walls clear from piled snow. The barrier also protects against snowmelt by diverting the flow of water and containing mud. By protecting areas on your property that have been damaged from, or are at risk for, erosion caused by snowdrift or snowmelt, you can provide safety for your property every winter.

EvoGuard diffuses wind and diverts windblown sand and can therefore be used as an effective tool for building and restoring sand dunes. By protecting areas on your property that have been damaged from, or are at risk for, erosion caused by windblown sand, you can regrow and maintain beachfront vegetation.

EvoGuard does not prevent or protect against active fire. It's purpose serves to protect against post-wildfire conditions. Wildfires devegetate hillsides, rendering them unstable. As rain falls, the destabilized hillsides are at high risk for mudslides and debris flow that threaten homes and property down the slope. EvoGuard protects by providing a barrier that contains the mud and reduces the risk of property damage.

EvoGuard is a trenchless system that is installed with positive contact to the earth’s surface and contains solids, such as mud and debris flow. As solids are collected, mass and weight are added to the system, increasing the barrier’s strength and function.

EvoGuard protects against fast moving surface water. When water impacts the system, the speed of flow is reduced, and water distributes evenly across the barrier at a normalized, less destructive, rate.

The containment of solids and neutralization of wind and water allow surface areas and slopes to revegetate and stabilize, providing both immediate protection and a long-term solution.

EvoGuard won't prevent a mudslide from occurring, but it can contain the mud and block it from flowing onto your property.
